BARCELONA EYEING SECOND WIN AGAINST VALLADOLID

Five-time European champions Barcelona are eyeing a second successive win in the Spanish La Liga ahead of their home game with Real Valladolid who are one of the three newly promoted teams in the division this season.

The Spanish La Liga is in its third week this season and Barcelona are already playing catchup to arch rivals Real Madrid. To this effect, they can’t afford to lose more points when they take on Real Valladolid on Sunday evening. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the top two favourites in the race to win the Spanish La Liga this season and the Catalan giants are already playing second fiddle to reigning European champions Real Madrid. BARCELONA TO BID FOR COUTINHO

It appears that Barcelona will return with an improved bid for Liverpool and Brazil forward Phillipe Coutinho in January. The Spanish team tried in vain to sign the Brazilian player during the summer window and will be hoping that they could achieve this in January.

It is believed that Liverpool will be prepared to sell the player in January as there are no signs that Phillipe Coutinho will be extending his stay with the Anfield side.
